Woah...

I am headed to Malibu this weekend for Discipleship. I am SO excited and didn't expect to be able to go. But alas the Lord must want me there for a certain reason...

Hit and Fly...

I was walking to the leasing office at work on Friday and I am taking my sweet time because it is SO darn hot outside. I take one step and another and all of a sudden I felt something SMACK the back of my head.

I stopped and looked around. A crow is flying away. Really? Are you kidding...?




Yes you guessed it a crow flew into the back of my head and kept on going. I wish that someone had caught it on tape because I would have loved to see that in slow motion. I could barely contain myself and by the time I arrived at the office everyone thought I was nuts.

The CRAZIEST things happen here at Shorewood Heights...or is it that they just happen to me?

Juno...

Geez Banana Shut your freakin' gob...

Sorry I can't help myself I love the movie Juno. I think everyone should see this movie at least once in their life. I probably watch it enough for most of the western hemisphere.

So last night...Jac and I tried to watch it and couldn't because her TV ate my Juno DVD...

I just bought the legit copy on Tuesday night! I am SO mad.

I hate modern technology sometimes.

GREAT is Thy Faithfulness

The last few weeks have been like a roller coaster to say the least but I am trusting that God is in complete control of my life. I am thankful that I have such a solid rock to stand on. I know that I can't be perfect but as long as God is numero uno in my life...all will be brought to His glory.

I have a hymn that is brought to mind. It is one I used to sing with my mom night after night when things were rough...

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;

What is a girl to do?

So I am here at work...with absolutely nothing to do

I am all alone in the clubhouse and I have cleaned and organized every closet and file cabinet I can find! Our corporate office is moving this weekend after a merger with a smaller management company so we can't process any paperwork.

So what am I doing with all this time you ask...

*Eating boxes of Hot Tamales

*Catching up on some Biblestudy


*Twiddling my thumbs

*Doodling


*Craigslisting for things I can't afford

*Watching cable TV on the big screen next to my office
